Nichy Gheran collaborated with "Buletin Problemistic" and composed two-movers, helpmates and fairy problems.
He was the inventor of the fairy piece CAT (Cal Troian - Cheval de Troie) or (1,2 ; 0,2) Leaper-Rider which was the theme of a thematic tourney organized by Buletin Problemistic.
