Significant chess composer of endgame studies

Born in Récse, who was an accounting expert as a bookkeeper
Lamoss began in the composition of problems and participated and participated in competitions with a lot of success,
but then he dedicated himself intensely to the endgame studies producing many works of high artistic and technical level.

 

He was born in Récs on 2 August 1911.

He was an accountant. He lived in Budapest.

His first composition appeared in the mid-1930s and he won his first competition in 1955.

The number of his published works: 42,

18 of which were honoured. He received 3 prizes, 1 first prize, 10 commendations and 5 commendations.

Twice he reached a position at the II. championships and received an award.

He is considerd  a scientific author, but his works have also been published in other genres.
