Helicopter crashes with San Juan’s governor on board, lawmaker Ferrá de Bartol dies.
The helicopter carrying San Juan governor Luis Gioja on board crashed this afternoon on the way from Valle Fértil to the capital of the province. Gioja and other passengers were wounded but safe and conscious, except Margarita Ferrá de Bartol, the local lawmaker.
The local authorities informed, the helicopter has plunged due to strong winds in the zone. All passengers were sent to the Hospital Rawson for the medical treatment.
Ferrá de Bartol was 76 years old and planning to renew her ballot in the upcoming legislative elections.
