Natalia (Raczynska) Kulkiewicz   was born 13th December, 1924 in Wisnicz Nowy.  Ul Kapernika 372.  She lived at this address until May 1940.   Natalia had an older brother Wlodzimi and a younger sister Helena.

Natalia lost her mother when she was 4yrs old.  Her new mother Teofila had two daughters from a previous marriage, Michalina and Janina.

Natalia was taken to Germany by German soldiers to work on the farms during the war. 

 She was taken to Vilsbiburg to work for J. Brandmeier (Hintervim) and then she worked for J. Shmaunz (Wimpasing).

Natalia met Leon Kulkiewicz after the war and they were married before they moved to Australia in February 1950, with two children, Leon jnr and Izabella and Natalia was pregnant with her third child.

Natalia and Leon lived in migrant camps then moved to Albury with their three children, (Grazyna was born soon after they arrived in Australia) and then in 1963 they moved to Canberra.    

Natalia lost her husband on 23rd April, 1976 and she died on the 22nd December, 2016.
