Viktor Ivanovich Cherepkov (Russian: Виктор Иванович Черепков; April 16, 1942 – September 2, 2017) was a Russian politician who was a Deputy of the State Duma of the third and fourth convocation. He was mayor of Vladivostok (1993–1994; 1996–1998). He was a Captain 1st rank in retirement.

He graduated from the railway technical school and the Pacific higher military-sea school.

In December 2011 announced the intention to run a candidate for President of Russia in the 2012 elections. The Central election Commission registered an initiative group of at least 500 people nominated Cherepkova. Thus, the Shards could become a registered candidate in presidents of the Russian Federation, if not later than 18:00 on 18 January 2012 and would collect two million signatures; however, he refused to hand over the signatures.

He was the leader of the unregistered party Freedom and Democracy.

Cherepkov died of cancer on the morning of September 2, 2017 in the Central Clinical Hospital of Moscow. According to his will, he will be buried in Vladivostok.
