Hendrik (Henk) Gerard Antoon Mesman (Belgium, 1919 - Netherlands 12.10.2006) was born in Antwerp in 1919.

Mesman was a former chessmaster and study composer of chess from Rotterdam.

Life:

His interest in the chess study started 1945, when he tried to solve a study by Kok.

He started composing and won the Postma thematic tourney in 1946.
