ADARI SHAYA (in Latvia - TRUSKANOVSKI), Zilupe. Went to Palestine; during WWII volunteered to the British Army. In 1943 - 140 Jewish young people from the Yeshuv were enlisted to the 462nd Transport Bat. and left on the ship "Ariforce" from Alexandria to Malta. The German aviation succeeded to drown them - all 140 Jewish young people perished, including Shaya Adari. They were buried on Mount Herzl with great honour; on the gravestones are written their names.
